Trust me, sometimes all you need to turn a moment around is a good laugh. .

Now, you might be asking yourself, Paige, how have you come to these revelations? The truth is, it’s been my personal experience. While I do have higher education, the best lessons I’ve been taught have come through the real, raw, painful moments and the thousands of mistakes I’ve made along the way. These moments are where my greatest growth and wisdom have come from.

I’m the youngest of 5 siblings and grew up in a small town in Illinois, surrounded by a huge, loving extended family. But by the time I made my grand debut into the world, my once “picture-perfect” family was beginning to slip apart. My parents’ marriage was unraveling, my dad struggled with a painful addiction to alcohol that turned him into a man he wasn’t proud of, and eventually, my mom made the difficult decision to get a divorce which resulted in her becoming a single mom. She worked tirelessly, raising us on one income, navigating the messiness of divorce in a small town where everyone knew everyone, all while holding onto the belief that with hard work and faith, you could achieve your desires in life.

As a child, witnessing the abuse from my father’s addiction, the lack of resources and support for families in rural America, and my deep desire to be authentically known, all stuck with me. Who am I kidding—those items shaped me. From a young age, I felt this intense need to always be doing something, changing myself to fit into these tiny, acceptable boxes. The truth was, I was tired of standing out—tired of being the girl with the absent father, the girl from the broken home. I just wanted to exist. That desperate desire led me down a destructive path, constantly seeking validation through others’ opinions and my accomplishments.

Then, everything changed when Jesus took hold of my heart. I found a sense of peace and acceptance I had never known before. It wasn’t an overnight transformation, but slowly, through faith and community, I began to embrace my true self. The pressure to fit into those “tiny boxes” faded, and a growing confidence in my own unique journey began to take its place.

As part of this healing journey, God restored my relationship with my father before he passed. It was a profound and beautiful moment of reconciliation, allowing me to forgive and be forgiven. That restoration brought healing not just to me but also to my entire family. In adulthood, we’ve come back together in ways I never imagined possible, and now, we’re stronger and more united than ever before.

I made a promise to myself that I would use my story to show people that with hard work, faith, and love, anything is possible.That promise became the foundation for everything I’ve built. It led me to create businesses and a nonprofit—The Boundless Trailer—to provide the same sense of community, support, and framework that I wish I had growing up. I wanted to create spaces where others could feel seen, heard, and empowered to live a life they are proud of. I also turned to writing, pouring my heart into works of literature that share the lessons I’ve learned and the strength I’ve gained.

These endeavors are more than just businesses—they’re the legacy I want to leave behind: a legacy of hope, resilience, and the undeniable truth that, no matter where you start, with the right support, anything is possible. Looking back on my journey, I am filled with gratitude for the growth that has come from those early struggles.
